Emma Johnson

EMMA JOHNSON (EM J):  Piano, Saxophone

Emma is a Saxophonist, Piano player and Composer based in Leeds, UK.

She graduated from Leeds College of Music in 2014 having studied under tutors such as Jim Corry, Joel Purnell and Jamil Sheriff as well as being mentored by saxophone legend Pee Wee Ellis.

As a freelance musician, she has performed with a wide variety of bands, including her own quintet “The Gravy Boat”.

Her current Performance and tour involvements include the likes of Olly Murs, Clare Teal, Gregory Porter, NYJO, Sir Tim Rice and Ian Shaw.
